These figures fold together every kind of endpoint we run — nodes, gateways, mirrors, resolver domains and standby capacity — on purpose. An attacker can't tell a validator from a mirror from a domain, can't tell which are live, and can't tell how many are real. Uncertainty is the defense.
Why the fog is the feature
You can't take down what you can't find.
Region, never address
Every pulse tells you a continent is covered — not a city, host, or IP. Real endpoints hide inside deliberate noise, so surveilling the map reveals nothing actionable.
Node or domain? Unknown
Validators, gateways, IPFS mirrors and resolver domains all render identically. Knock one out and you've no idea whether you hit something load-bearing or a decoy.
Bigger than you think
We publish ranges, not rosters. The true topology is never disclosed — and it changes. Planning an attack against a network whose size and shape you can't measure is a losing bet.
This map is intentionally abstract. VoiceBan discloses presence at the regional level only; exact host locations, counts and roles are withheld as a standing security measure. The network's real resilience comes from on-chain replication and content-addressed storage — so any endpoint, anywhere, can be lost and re-served from the rest.
